Typhoon Mangkhut Shuts Down China

The disastrous Typhoon Mangkhut landed at 5pm on Sunday on the coast of Jiangmen City, South China’s Guangdong Province with winds up to 162 km per hour. Meteorologists have called Mangkhut the world’s most powerful storm of 2018, at its peak it was the equivalent of a category 5 hurricane. Hurricane Florence Approaching

As hurricane Florence approaches it is slated to be one of the most dangerous hurricanes in history expecting to affect upwards of 20 million people. Florence is expected to hit near the Carolina coast from Thursday night to Saturday. As it approaches, it will flood the coastal areas with torrential rain, high winds, coastal erosion and storm surge.
